According to EMER-G-MED’s spokesperson, Max Cohen, the accident occurred just after 7.30am. “Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a school transport taxi had been rear-ended, pushing it into the car in front.

“The 12 school children sustained minor to moderate injuries, as some were found still seated in the taxi, and others walking around the scene.”

Cohen added that paramedics treated the children for their injuries at the scene, before they were transported to a nearby clinic for further treatment.

“No injuries were reported from the other vehicles and Metro police were on the scene to investigate the exact events leading up to the collision.”
