The centre will now be situated on Plot 193-1 on Maple Road, Kyalami AH.

TO PRESERVE: Friends of Free Wildlife (FFW) directors, Kevin Pearl, Sue Hemer, Margi Brocklehurst, Wendy Brodie, Sheryl Gibbons and Claudius Sibanda.

“We have lots to do to convert a large stable block into a wildlife rehabilitation centre and renovation work is already in progress. We are not open to the public as yet but, hopefully, in three to four weeks we will be open to the public, depending on what we have [been] sponsored to run the centre,” Brocklehurst explained.

An official launch for the centre will be announced in the near future and community members are encouraged to attend.
