Impilo urging residents to support musical in aid of charity
FAIRVALE – Impilo urging the public to support upcoming fundraiser.
Child protection and adoption organisation, Impilo, is urging residents to support their upcoming fundraising initiative taking place at Montecasino later on in the year.
The organisation is inviting the public to purchase tickets for a revival of the renowned musical, Annie, at the Teatro, to raise funds for the children in its care.
The event will take place on 20 November from 5.30pm and will see the much-loved play brought to life on South African shores. The public is urged to support the fundraising initiative by either purchasing tickets for the show or making a donation to the organisation.
Impilo is a non-profit organisation focused on taking care of orphaned, vulnerable, abandoned, abused and neglected children. Social workers at the organisation often work with about 120 children at any given time, taking them through their journey to be placed in permanent families.
Tickets to the show can be purchased for cash or electronically and the public can contact the organisation for more information.
