In the junior urban dance solo category, Torizo Lamola came in eighth place, while Vuyeleni Mukansi came in eleventh position.

Tyla dos Santos was the female urban dancer who came eighth in the senior urban dance solo category.

“As Comsade, we would like to commend and support our dance students for their hard work and achievements, as we consistently enter many of them into several national and international festivals and competitions,” head dance instructor, David Morake said.

“We would like to push for South African media to support positive youth development and we would also like to inform the Fourways community of the wonderful international achievements taking place within their region so these specific students can gain the support and some well-deserved recognition from their own community.”
