After DJ Marvin Cohen was assaulted by two men in the parking lot of Montecasino, the entertainment complex’s general manager group communications Priya Naidoo said, “This incident is under police investigation, however, we can disclose that the incident did take place. Montecasino security apprehended the suspects and handed them over to the Douglasdale Police Station.”
Naidoo further said the safety and security of patrons were paramount. “While we have trained security staff available on the premises who respond immediately, we cannot accept responsibility for guests who get involved in personal altercations,” she concluded.
