In an attempt to provide cheer to the less fortunate, Mongezi Ntsokolo, group executive of distribution at Eskom, took it upon himself to provide warmth to the Bona Lesedi Home in Diepsloot.
Accompanied by his wife, Babalwa, her sister Thoko Boyang, and Eskom employees of corporate affairs, customer service and distribution divisions, Ntsokolo donated 60 winter blankets, clothes and slippers on a visit to the centre.
Ntsokolo said, “It is now winter and I feel so blessed to be warm. I thought about children in the homes where my wife used to visit when she was still part of the Eskom Spousal Executive programme. They used to do good things for the less privileged and I felt it would be good to go back and donate.
“The children were so happy to see warm clothes being donated. It was a good gesture.”
