Businesswomen empowered through networking
FOURWAYS - Author enchants businesswomen at a business networking session.
Author of Own Your Space, Lori Milner gave a talk to businesswomen at a business networking session which is held on a monthly basis at Hirsch’s Fourways.
Milner spoke about how to maximise the power of your personal brand and the businesswomen were encouraged to physically brand their businesses through business presentations and meetings. She gave tips on how to dress and how they should conduct themselves through e-mail, telephone, social media, as well as branding themselves through networking and communicating with others.
Milner also touched on conflicts and stressful situations which may be faced in the business world.
The businesswomen were able to interact at the end of the talk and got to do various exercises with each other.
“All the ladies shared how empowered they felt after the talk and how they can take what they have learnt into their workplace,” Hirsch’s Fourways public relations officer, Nicolene Samigan expressed.
