The Sunflower Fund to host fundraiser at Parkers Comedy and Jive
MAGALIESSIG - Be part of a fundraiser which will see you contributing to a good cause and receiving tummy-aching laughs.
THE Sunflower Fund will host a fun event to raise funds for the organisation, and to place donors on the South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR), at Parkers Comedy and Jive at Montecasino on 12 April.
Community members are invited to join the fundraiser for a good laugh while making a difference in the lives of people suffering from leukaemia and other blood-related disorders.
The public is urged to come in their numbers to help The Sunflower Fund.
According to the organisation, often people suffering from leukaemia and other life-threatening diseases need a life-saving stem cell transplant from a donor who is a DNA match. They added that there is a one in a million chance of a donor being a match, making the odds really high.
