Gauteng Department of Health spokesperson Steve Mabona said the MEC was admitted at the said hospital on 3 February afternoon, after conducting site visits to different facilities in Tshwane as a build-up process to the Gauteng government’s community outreach programme, Ntirhisano. “She complained about her health just before a public meeting scheduled for 3pm to be addressed by the Premier David Makhura and the Mayor of Tshwane Kgosientso Ramokgopa, and as such she was rushed to the hospital and her treating doctors admitted her for observation and investigation to determine why she did not feel well,” Mabona said.
He added that after observations, her treating doctors, are confident that, she will be discharged home in due course. “We wish to thank our health professionals for sterling work,” said Mabona.
