Acts of Love showers the needy with gifts
GLEN AUSTIN - Acts of Love, a charity organisation of Acts Christian Church, recently donated boxes filled with clothes, stationery, toys and toiletries to many organisations that care for orphaned children and elderly people in need in Midrand, including New Jerusalem Children's Home.
The charity held parties at some of the homes to hand out the donations and gifts. Head of Acts of love, Cindy Naidoo said, “Very little beats the feeling of seeing the smiles of so many of these precious children once they receive their gifts.
“As an organisation, we try to ensure each gift is special by personalising them and allowing each person to feel like they matter.”
Naidoo stated that the organisation, which believes in changing the world one person at a time through acts of love, is glad their small gestures make a difference to many people’s lives.
New Jerusalem Children’s Home’s public relations officer, Patrick Emorhokpor said, “Thank you to Acts of Love, they constantly have New Jerusalem in mind and donate to us. This time, they gave stationery and toiletries to the children.”
