Get in shape in 2016

JOBURG - It is the new year and many are embarking on a fitness journey in 2016 – and that journey is easier conquered in a group.

Instead of being the focus of the gym bunnies who complain about the newcomers, take a different approach to getting fit in the new year by joining a fun club and taking part in outdoor activities with like-minded people who want to get fit too.

There are a number of fun classes in and around Johannesburg that will get you well on your way to that flat stomach and rock hard legs.

Yoga in the Park

Join Yoga Works for outdoor yoga sessions every Sunday morning at Emmarentia Botanical Gardens. Get your weekly dose of fresh air, sunshine, exercise, nature and try out your tree pose under a real tree. Just bring your yoga mat, friends, family and water to join in on the fun.

fitCal Night Trail Run

Join in on the five or 10km Night Trail Run around the scenic grounds of the Wanderers Golf Club. After the run, there will be drinks, food, music and ample space to relax and socialise before you get your weekend started.
