A sleepathon for the Huskies

LANSERIA - HUSKY Rescue South Africa (HRSA) will host its very first Sleepathon at the Husky Haven care facility in Lanseria on 28 November.

THE QUEEN B: Siberian Husky Shakira is affectionately known as the Queen of the Haven at Husky Rescue South Africa.

According to Joanne van Niekerk, founder of HRSA, “The Haven is home to 50 Nordic breed dogs and has 25 kennel runs. We strive to keep the runs as homely as possible but at the end of the day, our dogs deserve so much more. Through the ‘Rent-a-Run’ Sleepathon we hope to find many of our special dogs a loving, forever home as well as raise some much-needed funds for our shelter.”
