WARNING: Severe hail may hit today
JOHANNESBURG – There are reports of large hail storms, damaging winds and thunder storms on the way after the extensive heatwave that has been cooking the province for the past two weeks.
According to a tweet sent out by Gauteng Weather (@tWeatherSA), The South African Weather Service has issued warnings for severe thunderstorms that are set to hit Gauteng from noon until around 11pm this evening.

Motorists and pedestrians have been advised to keep an eye on the weather, as there is a chance of a severe hailstorm hitting Gauteng over the course of the day that could result in damage to cars and smaller buildings.
