Clothes and food drive a hit at Clay Oven

PAULSHOF – In an attempt to better the lives of those less fortunate, the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL), Rivonia Heroes Branch (Ward 106), held a clothing and food drive for the Clay Oven informal settlement community.

Chairperson of the youth league, Malose Leolo said, “As ANCYL members we have an obligation and a responsibility to… [better] the lives of our community members in making sure that they are well taken care of and that they have access to essentials [like] everyone else.”

The organisation collected clothes, non-perishable food, books and toys which they handed over to the community.
