Two injured after car rolled multiple times
LANSERIA - Two people were left injured this afternoon, one critically, after a vehicle rolled multiple times off the R512 past Lanseria.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found a light motor vehicle sitting upright, far off to the side of the road and a man and woman lay 30 metres away.
“On assessment, paramedics found that a woman had sustained critical injuries while a man had sustained only minor injuries. Paramedics immediately began their treatment and provided the critically injured patient with advanced life support,” said Meiring.
He said the woman was then airlifted to Life Fourways Hospital for urgent treatment, while the man was transported to hospital for further treatment.
“The incident was reported to local authorities for further investigations,” said Meiring.
