Netcare CanSurvive walk for cancer

LONEHILL - Netcare will hold a 5km walk at Lonehill Park on 6 September in support and honour of cancer survivors nationwide.

Lonehill residents are set to run for the change they need in their community.

The walk will be from 8am to 2pm.

The community is urged to join and help raise awareness of cancer, early detection methods, treatment options, and cancer support groups within the community.

Proceeds will go to the CanSurvive Cancer Support Groups, and the CanAssist Support Team which provides refreshments every week to oncology patients at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.

There will also be a Holistic Health Fair at the event.
