Steyn City does its part for Mandela Day

FOURWAYS - Steyn City recently showed just how much they care by collecting and hanging up over 300m of clothes on a clothes line for Mandela Day which they will donate to various charities in Diepsloot.

Tammy Menton, marketing manager for Steyn City, thanked the local community and Steyn City staff for coming out in support.

The lifestyle resort urged members from the local communities of Broadacres, Dainfern, Fourways and Lonehill to look through their drawers and cupboards for unwanted clothing items that could be donated to the needy in the neighbouring Diepsloot area.

Clothing was collected from 17 to 18 July by staff and contractors to Steyn City Properties.

Menton said that their work would not stop on Mandela Day, as Steyn City has an ongoing corporate social initiative called Delivering Happiness to Diepsloot, which raises funds for various charities throughout the year.
