Communal warmth

LONEHILL – A LOCAL Rawson Property Group franchise is doing its part in keeping the less fortunate members of the community warm this winter.

Steven Goosen, a franchisee, informed Fourways Review that the company would be hosting a blanket drive from 22 June.

Drop-off points will be at the Rawson showroom in Lonehill and at the Silver Pines Development in Broadacres. Coffee and biscuits will be served to generous community members who come through to donate blankets, which are to be handed over on 31 July to the local SPCA and at informal settlements around the Lonehill area.

“Our aim is to gather 200 blankets before 31 July,” said Goosen.

“We really don’t want this to be a cheesy campaign, it is important to us that our efforts contribute something meaningful to the community.”
