The Douglasdale Community Policing Forum posted on their Facebook page that the alleged shooting took place on 21 June and another community member also informed Fourways Review of the alleged incident. It seems the incident took place at the corner of Fourways Boulevard and William Nicol Drive in Fourways at around 4pm on 21 June.
Community members reported on social media that emergency services were on the scene attending to bystanders, however details of the injuries that incurred are unclear at this stage. Some community members alleged that it was a hijacking incident but this is yet to be verified.
