All in aid of Ark
FOURWAYS – THE Ark Animal Rescue shelter was spoilt by Rikki Brest, a member of the popular all-girl percussion band Chix with Stix.
Brest donated a generous amount of animal food she had collected on her 30th birthday.
“There must be over 50kgs of food, tins and treats for our lucky pups,” said Candice Eilertsen of the rescue shelter.
“And it came at the perfect time, thankfully, as we are always in need of puppy food.”
For those who can spare an extra space in their hearts, there is also a new batch of puppies up for adoption from the shelter. They promise that they will grow up to always be ecstatic when you come home after work, and to snuggle you when it gets cold at night. All they ask for in return is a forever home.
