Every night is ladies’ night

JOBURG - The grand opening of the Magic Mike South Africa Vegas-style Dinner and Dance Revue was an intimate affair that left the ladies – and a group of men – eagerly awaiting the next show.

Magic Mike South Africa, modelled after the Magic Mike movie starring Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey, debuted their first show to the public at The Arena in Fourways.

The organisers of the event made sure to keep it intimate so that each of the dapper young gentlemen could pay special attention to their crowd of bachelorettes and birthday girls. The show is made up of three themed dance performances which take place at three different intervals throughout the night, with dinner and fraternising with the gentlemen commencing in between.

The aim of the show, however, is not to merely entertain the women who attend.

Bruce Walker, one of the organisers of the event divulged to City Buzz that they were in the process of organising a special show with a charity organisation that assists women who have been victims of sexual assault.

He explained that they did not want the message of the show to be forgotten as soon as the audience left, so this special show would educate the guests on topics of sexuality, as well as methods of dealing with sexual assault.

The dancers will then be able to put their good looks to good use on this special show night, and leave the ladies with a show they will never forget – for more than just one reason.

Interested parties are encouraged to book a table as there are only two dates available in July.
