MIDRAND - PROFESSIONAL cyclist for Team Europcar SA and Nike Vision ambassador, James Fourie, is taking part in an initiative where he stands a chance to win R100 000 for charity if he gets the most votes wearing his spectacles.

Fourie has chosen to support Barking Mad Dogtown SA, a rehabilitation centre for abandoned dogs, for the Change the Way You See the World campaign run by Mellins i-Style and Zeiss in which votes for people wearing their spectacles are accumulated .

Fourie said, “I chose Barking Mad for this campaign because they rely solely on donations and they rescue, rehabilitate and find homes for dogs.”

The animal rescue centre’s representative Pat Barr-Saunders said the centre is thrilled that Fourie has chosen to align himself with their cause.

“Winning the money will enable us to continue building our new rehabilitation centre for South Africa’s abandoned dogs. We are hoping that Fourie will get first place,” she said.

The campaign will run until 30 June and the ambassador with the most votes wins money for their charity. To vote for your favorite ambassador to win the money for charity go to https://woobox.com/yofvru
