Fair to start a buzz in Lonehill

LONEHILL – RESIDENTS of Lonehill can start preparing themselves for what is to be a day of total fun and entertainment at the Lonehill Village Fair next week.

16 May will mark the big launch of the fair to be held in the Lonehill Park behind the Lonehill Shopping Centre. Although this is only a pilot, organisers THINK Community say it will grow into the greatest village fair ever. The event will open its doors as early as 7am until 5pm, and residents will be happy to know that entrance is free.

Apart from fun in the sun, the other aim of the event is to provide a platform for the 2 000 plus local businesses in the area to take their services and product offerings out of the four walls directly to about 6 000 homeowners in the Lonehill and Beverley community. Business owners will be out to inspire, excite, motivate, attract and entertain consumers by providing a ‘WOW’ experience on the day.

Spots are still open for last minute places available for buskers, musicians, entertainers, troubadours and magicians. Anyone who would like to contribute their entertaining skills in an unplugged free-roam style at the fair, or if you know any talented people, contact admin@thinkcommunity.co.za or Sandi 083 306 2661 or Paula 083 307 0918.
