Red lips for physical abuse
FOURWAYS - Fourways-based breakfast show radio personality Sotho Meyer was recently joined by semi finalists of the Miss Junior SA pageant.
10-year-old Tamia de Beer and 19-year-old Chamese Holtzhausen are spearing the Redmylips campaign which stands against physical abuse.
The teenagers also received ‘Good Luck’ lipsticks and gloss from Black Opal ahead of the Miss Junior SA pageant which takes place in Tshwane from 28 April to 3 May.
De Beer will compete in the Miss Pre-Teen competition while Holtzhausen will take part in the Miss Junior SA section.
Meyer is one of four faces that represent the Black Opal make-up brand in the country. She is also part of the weekday breakfast team on KayaFM 95.9’s Breakfast with Bob programme. She wished the youngsters the best of luck for the pageant.
