An amazingly African affair at Caxton Awards 2015

BRAAMFONTEIN- The 26th annual Caxton Awards took place at the Johannesburg Theatre on 19 March.

The ‘Amazingly African’ affair brought together Caxton employees from around the country to award sales, journalistic, managerial and administrative emloyees of its local community newspapers.

The Soweto Gospel choir opened up the stage in true African style, and absolutely wowed the crowd. Other performances were from the Durban group, Gangs of Ballet who tore up the stage and had the crowds screaming, while Johnny Apple serenaded the crowd with his amazing voice.

Keeping to the African theme, guests enjoyed traditional African food and had the opportunity to get their faces painted by face-painters from Moyo. A marimba group kept guests on their feet.
