Dealership deals a helping hand

FOURWAYS - A young Fourways-based company is helping their community in a number of ways, including animal welfare and sports development.

Mark White Nissan at Fourways Crossing opened in 2009 and from day one the staff were told that the only thing that would separate them from the ordinary is how they look after people.

This fundamental statement became the driving force behind the company pursuing charity initiatives in Fourways and beyond.

One of the programmes they have is the care and feeding of stray cats in the area around the dealership. According to Fonzy Mariemuthoo of the dealership, in December last year, the Benoni SPCA received a brand new Nissan NP200 from Mark White Nissan. Nandri Indian Cuisine, a start-up eatery, also received funding from the dealership.

Their only condition was that they continue to empower their staff as they grow. In addition, Mark White Nissan has started sponsoring the University of Johannesburg’s rugby first team.

Bringing the needs of their benefactors together, the dealership secured a contract for Nandri Indian Cuisine to supply meals at all of the University of Johannesburg’s sporting events.
