Fanning the #ProteaFire
JOBURG - A giant Proteas KFC bucket arrived at Caxton's Johannesburg North branch giving staff the opportunity to write their messages of support for the boys as they make their way Down Under.
The bucket has been touring around the country, allowing fans their chance to add fuel to the #ProteaFire. The idea of the messages on the bucket is to provide the Proteas with inspiration at one of the most prestigious events on the sporting calendar, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, in Australia and New Zealand.
Shawn Belluigi, one of the people behind the big bucket initiative said, ”Caxton has been one of our partners throughout the years in terms of getting the stories out to the communities. They have also been at our KFC Mini Cricket coaching clinics.”
The bucket’s final destination was the Proteas’ send-off, which took place at Melrose Arch Piazza on 4 February.
