According to Captain Doniah Mothutsane, spokesperson for the provincial police, the couple were found dead by a relative at 6am this morning.
“The relative alleges that when he woke up he saw that the door had been opened slightly and upon investigation, he found the couple murdered in their bedroom,” she said.
She confirmed that a White Audi A3 was stolen from the property and it belonged to the deceased woman. According to eBlockwatch‘s Andre Snyman, the stolen vehicle was seen in Douglasdale and was being tracked. This, however, remains unconfirmed at this stage.
Police are now investigating cases of murder and theft of motor vehicle.
