A plea for sterlisation

DIEPSLOOT -Milton baby product sterilisation experts will be encouraging moms to give back to under-privileged babies and their caregivers during November.

Perfect Day Care in Diepsloot was one of the many intuitions that were given sterilisers through this initiative. “We distributed 1 000 Milton Combi Sterilisers to disadvantaged communities to try and help fight the shocking gastro statistics in South Africa,” said Lauren Baldson, communications representative for Milton.

The home did not know about the increasing amount of baby death rates and statistics that occur daily in disadvantaged areas due to the lack of sterilisation. The day care is now sponsored by Milton and it uses Milton products to sterilise equipment for babies. According to Baldson, Milton offers a tried and tested sterilisation solution that is scientifically proven to kill all commonly known germs including thrush. The company is committed to reducing these frightening gastroenteritis statistics by providing world-class sterilisation technology to communities in need and to babies at risk said Baldson. “The more people who know about the programme, the more we can educate and start to change lives,” she added.

One of the caregivers at the centre said they are grateful for the new sterilisation units and are now well educated on the importance of sterilisation. Milton is giving this programme all it has, it will only make an impact if people know about it and want to make an impact in society. Baldson stressed that the public needs to be we educated on the importance of sterilisation.

“We are inviting the public to go to our website and select or nominate communities that would benefit from education on sterilising and free Milton Combi Steriliser packs,” said Baldson.
