Monte strikes a pose
MONTECASINO - World Arthritis Day kicked off on 12 October with the "Strike a Pose" campaign at Montecasino. Fourways residents were invited to pose with one of Montecasino's several coloured statues.
The “Strike a Pose” campaign, which is supported by The Arthritis Foundation of South Africa, is leading the fight against autoimmune diseases. The coloured statues gave the public the opportunity to support autoimmune disease awareness and raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation of South Africa.
Catch the ‘Strike a Pose’ statues all around Johannesburg until 16 October in Pretoria, and 17 and 18 October in Cape Town and Durban. Take a ‘selfie’ with the statue, post it onto the Join the Fight – Strike a Pose Facebook page and stand the chance to win a Samsung Tablet T231. In support of disease awareness, support the Arthritis Foundation of South Africa by SMSing ‘Strike a Pose’ to 38584 and donating R10 to the foundation.
