Proud Paulshof residents take a walk

PAULSHOF - The Paulshof Residents' and Ratepayers' Association (PRRA) held their first family fun walk.

Paulshof, fondly known as the ‘Garden village of the North’, awoke to the sound of a 150 pairs of eager feet walking through the streets of the suburb and the green belt.

The route was a pleasant five kilometre scenic walk supported and guided by the Metro police. Several watering points were set up along the way for both walkers and their pets. At the end of the walk, a welcome beer tent and a braai greeted the residents.

The walk started and finished at Cambridge Crossing shopping centre. Shathi Govender, chairperson of the PRRA, was exceptionally pleased with the level of participation from the residents.

“We have started the event and next year we will come back bigger and better,” he said. Govender also gave a special thank you to all the sponsors who made the event a success.
