The man behind the Miss Heritage Pageant

FOURWAYS- Tare Munzara, the president and founder of the Fourways-based Miss Heritage Pageant gave an insight into the pageant.

Munzara announced that the final of the pageant which will host 50 contestants from all over the world will be held in South Africa in October.

He explained why this pageant was so different and unique from any other beauty pageant.

“As a pageant, we are clearly not the usual international pageant because we built up our own concept from scratch, without replicating other pageants. “We have our own values and policies,” he said.

“All our contesting queens are under a binding oath and duty to implement sustainable development heritage projects in their country.”

He said each finalist should be an astute thinker, a visionary, a person that dreams and works towards their dreams, and more importantly a person that understands the Miss Heritage pageant.

Munzara added that South Africa was the perfect platform to hold the pageant as it was a melting pot of diverse heritages.
