Ageless beauty at fashion parade

The fashion parade took place at the Riverside Manor clubhouse in Sunninghill and featured an upbeat runway show by some of the residents. Organiser and resident, Norma Rocket said the aim of the fashion parade was to allow women residents the chance to peruse the latest fashions without having to go to the shops, especially since some of the residents are no longer very mobile.

Rocket said the secondary aim of the parade was to allow the residents an opportunity to socialise and make friends. The gorgeous models showed off imported garments by D n D Exclusive Fashions. Owner of D n D, Diana Dunn said she often visited retirement villages with her range as she liked to bring the fashion to the residents rather than the residents coming to her. The guests marvelled at the beautiful garments and enjoyed a fun social event with their friends, family and neighbours.
