South Africa to host the Miss Heritage Pageant final

FOURWAYS - With Heritage Day on 24 September, Miss Heritage Pageant president Tare Munzara and her team are gearing up for the grand finale on 13 December.

Miss Heritage is an international beauty pageant which has more than 50 countries currently franchised to participate at its world finals.

The pageant is an ‘edutainment’ production that not only entertains, but also educates on global heritage and diversity. It is the first international beauty pageant to focus on the promotion of the diverse heritage in the world, and the only internationally recognised international pageant that is hosted and based in Africa.

The main objective of the pageant is to use heritage as a tool for sustainable development throughout the world, so that there is change in people’s lives being derived from the benefits of national and world heritage.

As part of the build up, contestants will go through championship events to show off their skills and beauty.

The public can vote for the current contestants online and the winner will be announced in December.
