Property company donates alarms to Diepsloot

DIEPSLOOT - Century Property Developments donated 300 personal alarms to the Diepsloot community.

The alarms are designed to aid people living in high-risk areas to raise the alarm when there is criminal activity. According to Anne Vicente of Century Property Development, the donation was worth R12 000.

“Century Property Developments is active in the Diepsloot community through its Diepsloot youth programme,” Vicente said. She explained that the programme entailed coaches going into schools to give drug education, conduct homework clubs, and teach study skills, art and drama. The programme also organises an annual spelling bee. The Diepsloot Police Station gladly accepted the donation of alarms which they distributed to the Diepsloot community.
