Burgers made with heart

FOURWAYS - Wimpy Fourways in Johannesburg invited 10 children from the African Children’s Feeding Scheme to enjoy their new EyePlay children’s play area.

The African Children’s Feeding Scheme was established in 1945 when Bishop Trevor Huddleston handed out peanut butter sandwiches.

Today the feeding scheme provides 31 500 children with milk and peanut butter sandwiches every day. This is to uplift and empower the Soweto, Kagiso, Daveyton, Alexandra, Thembisa, Tsakana and Kwa Themba communities.

To celebrate the role the scheme plays in these areas Wimpy Fourways had them over for a play date at their new EyePlay indoor playground.

The virtual playground allows multiple players to interact with colourful graphics and sounds projected onto doors or walls. The facility hosts a variety of interactive games such as bubble popping, colouring, drums and puzzles.

All the games change at set intervals to keep the players’ attention. The EyePlay is available at selected restaurants across the country in areas such as Fourways Mall and Port Elizabeth.
