‘Bluenami’ wants to end with Soweto concert

NORTHWOLD- In one of their final razzle dazzle's for votes, the DA vows to change South Africa for the better.

On 3 May the Coca-Cola Dome was filled not with songs of struggle, but songs of freedom when the Democratic Alliance took over the venue in one of their last bids for votes next week.

Party leader Helen Zille made a strong case for the party, and why their governance will move South Africa forward. Her multi-lingual speech offered a South Africa free of corruption and ongoing strife, with vows of unrivaled engagement with those that have long been suffering under ANC rule.

According to her South Africans sometimes forgot their voice.

“Remember that in a democracy, the government is supposed to work for you. You hire it. And you can fire it. And we all know how it’s done: You hire with your vote and you fire with your vote,” she said.

Hinted to be the last rally for the DA, the party will host a concert tommorow in Soweto.

Branded as the ‘We Can Win’ concert Zille, DA Gauteng Premier Candidate Mmusi Maimane, DA Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko and DA Youth Leader Mbali Ntuli will participate in the celebrations.

According to the DA it is to, “Thank our thousands of supporters and activists who have tirelessly worked to campaign for the DA in this election campaign. They have worked day and night to spread the DA’s message of stopping corruption and creating more jobs.”

Acts will include: The Muffinz, Kwaito Officers, Jozi, Glen Lewis, Kwesta, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Ntomb’OmXhosa, Plasha, Gary & the Democrats, DJ Juice, Teardrops, Phat Jack and X-Man & Dangerbot. The concert is set to start at noon on Walter Sisulu Square.
