Easter celebration in Lonehill
LONEHILL - City Life Church brought the community together for an Easter celebration.
The third Eggstravagant Easter Egg Hunt was held at Lonehill Park and hosted by the church. Children ran around during the Easter egg hunt and parents enjoyed a peaceful park visit.
The church has held many fundraisers and community initiatives to raise money for the El Roi baby home, a Christian non-profit organisation designed to care for abandoned babies.
Head pastor of the Lonehill branch of the church, David Reinecke said, “The event is not another church programme focused on just spiritually, but it’s rather about helping and supporting other people.”
With more than 3 000 people attending the event it brought the community together in a wholesome celebration of Easter, which supported family involvement and the upliftment of those in need.
