Company invests in special needs

BROADACRES - Unity College in Broadacres received a welcome donation from mining manufacturing company, PTS in Boksburg.

The company donated R60 000 towards Unity College’s Btech qualification which is offered within the senior phase. Unity College is a special needs school which caters for pupils with delayed scholastic ability.

The school visited the company to receive their cheque and were treated to a tour of the factory afterwards.

Michelle Kirk, advancement officer of Unity College said the senior pupils were in awe during the tour.

“What a lovely positive environment and learning experience for us all,” Kirk said. “Thank you to PTS for your investment in us. Together we will do great things for our pupils.”
