In a bid to ensure that the public is aware that refuse collection will continue during the holidays, the utility has compiled a schedule indicating on which days refuse will be collected and which landfill sites will be operational.
Residents and businesses are also urged to put out their refuse by 7am to assist with the collection of refuse on the day.
Refuse will be collected on the public holidays (18, 21, 28 April and 1 and 7 May) while recyclable material will only be collected in the participating areas on these days.
However, only four landfill sites will be operating on these public holidays. These are Robinson Deep, Goudkoppies, Marie Louise and Ennerdale landfill sites. All garden sites will be closed on 18 February, but will be open from 8am to 5pm on the remaining public holidays.
