Crawford Lonehill has the Vibe

LONEHILL - Pupils from over 40 schools nationwide had the opportunity of experiencing the exciting world of brand building which gave them an understanding of the requirements of revolutionising brands in an innovative way.

The students participated in the Vega Interschool Brand Experience (Vibe) at various Vega campuses in Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town.

The competing schools were set up as mini-brand consultancies for organisations looking for a unique and innovative way of coming up with ideas for brand building and marketing.

“This challenge was not designed to find the country’s best artist, designer, marketer or accountant,” Vega co-founder, Dr Carla Enslin explained. “It was designed to get the pupils’ creative juices flowing by challenging them to use their expertise and skills to build brands based on new ideas.”

The best performing team in each region won a prize for delivering exceptional work in completing the challenge, and there was an overall national winner. Vibe in Johannesburg was held at Vega’s Bordeaux campus.

After a day of brainstorming and thinking outside the box, Crawford College Lonehill was announced as both the winning team in their region as well as the overall national winner.
