The school based in Kyalami, decided to do a random act of kindness inspired by the Random Acts of Kindness foundation which encourages people to practice kindness and pass it on to others.
When choosing a recipient for their random act, the school had to look no further than a family of six which the school has been supporting since last year.
The school originally helped the family relocate from Diepsloot to Laudium in central Pretoria where they now have a house of their own.
Summit College and Preparatory will now be able to give the family a further R4 800 which was raised at a mini-market, towards their new life.
