Ark Animal Centre runs adoption weekends

CHARTWELL – Ark Animal Centre has some adorable puppies up for adoption

The Fourways-based centre is the leading rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing shelter in South Africa.

They are a non-profit organisation which specialises in the homing and care of puppies as well as pregnant mother dogs.

Tracy Otto, manager of Ark Animal Centre, said the adoption fee of R900 included inoculations, a rabies shot, de-worming and sterilisation when the puppy reaches six months of age.

Ark Animal Centre is currently running adoption weekends to encourage the public to visit the shelter, play with the puppies and maybe decide on an addition or two to their families.

The centre’s Candice Eilertsen explained that the public can visit the shelter on a Saturday or Sunday from 10am to 3:30pm.

For directions to the shelter or for adoption inquiries visit the Ark Animal Centre website or contact Candice Eilertson.
