Sandton City hosted the launch of the new 7de Laan cookbook.
The book, 7de Laan Celebrates, had fans of the Lonehill produced soap lined up at the Checkers Court to get their copies autographed by their favourite cast members.
The launch was an initiative by Sandton City and CNA to give 7de Laan fans the opportunity to meet their favourite stars. The cookbook is aimed at introducing fans to various dishes that have been personally put together by the stars.
Renowned South African actor, Gys de Villiers was the programme director for the day and he kept the crowd of fans entertained with his jokes. The 7de Laan actors and actresses who appeared at Sandton City were Jo da Silva (Gita), Annelize van der Ryst Hattingh (Matrone), Pierre van Pletzen (Oubaas), Jacques Blignaut (Vince), Bertha le Roux (Emma), Vinette Ebrahim (Charmaine), Mimi Mahlasela (Aggie) and Annelisa Weiland (Hilda).
They all met their biggest fans and their fans got the opportunity to interact with them and participate in a fun quiz to win prizes.
