Residents of Beverley, Lonehill, Little Fourways, Magaliessig and a portion of Douglasdale east of Douglas Drive falls under the Sector 4 policing area. Douglasdale Police and Community Policing Forum will explain the policing plans in the sector.
The community is invited to choose a Sector 4 committee that will represent the area’s interests.
Chairperson of the forum Jean Berdou said, “Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in your community and it could save lives and property. Let’s get involved and be the change we want to see.”
The new chairpersons for the other three sectors have been elected. Margaret van Zwieten is chairperson for Sector 1, Lucas Ntlhane was elected for Sector 2 and Thibeli Malebo for Sector 3.
