Community members are welcome to attend the meeting on the 12 August at 6.30pm at the Indaba Hotel Auditorium.
Sector 4 spans Beverley, Lonehill, Little Fourways, Magaliessig and a small portion of Douglasdale. Properties east of Douglas Drive fall under Sector 4 and those on the western side fall under Sector 1.
Douglasdale Police and Community Policing Forum will explain the policing plans in the sector, and enable residents to get involved and ensure the chosen committee will represent all interests.
Chairman of the forum Jean Berdou said, “Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in your community and it could save lives and property. Let’s get involved and be the change we want to see.”
The new chairpersons for the other three sectors have been elected. Margaret Van Zwieten is chairperson for Sector 1, Lucas Ntlhane was elected for Sector 2 and Thibeli Malebo for Sector 3.
