PICS: Johannesburg is getting ready to go carting

MAGALIESSIG – Carting has never been cooler as Johannesburg gears up for this year's Red Bull Box Cart Race.

 

On 23 August, a special event was hosted at the Red Bull shop at Design Quarter for members of the media ahead of the 2018 Red Bull Box Cart Race.

A number of the teams participating in this year’s event were present, including local MMA athlete Martin van Staden.The race will take place on 16 September on Sandton Drive, and contestants will be judged on speed (without the use of a motor) and the creativity of their carts.
