#HaveYourSay: What do you think about the number of beggars at intersections?

FOURWAYS – This is what your fellow residents had to say about the rise in beggars at intersections.

Fourways residents were asked about their views on the increased number of beggars at intersections. This is what they had to say …

GRACE RAMATSETSE: As much as we tend to think that the beggars are being a nuisance, they are basically there to get food and earn money.
RONNIE MAKHATHO: I can imagine how it is to be a beggar on the streets with no job and no place to go. We need to help these beggars so that they can live their best life.
MARIAH NDOZRO: The beggars are there to get food because they have nowhere to go… being winter does not help their situation.
MTHWAKAZI THWESHA: I am sometimes scared of beggars because I do not know what they can do to you. The police need to regulate their presence on intersections for our safety.
