A weekend Italian experience

Family and friends enjoyed a first-hand weekend experience of what Italy has to offer without the need of a plane ticket on 6 to 8 May at the Made In Italy festival at Montecasino.

Visitors walked stall to stall tasting cheese, wine, cocktails, pizzas and pastas, and witnessed live Italian cooking demonstrations.

There was live entertainment and Italian-inspired movies. The piazza, decorated in the colours of red, white and green of the Italian flag, was abuzz as attendees looked at Italian cars, Alfa Romeo and Fiat.

The festival ended with a show day display of a fleet of Ferraris said to be the pinnacle of Italian motoring.
