Rotary helps Mother Touch

Rotary has a rich relationship with the pre-school, which offers quality education for toddlers from Diepsloot.

The Club’s president Peter Rokitta was joined by fellow Rotarians, who helped the school with their wish list of upgrades.

The school’s vegetable garden and the repair of the playground equipment was top of the list.

Volunteers also painted walls and cleaned the school in an effort to make it a home-away-from home for pupils.

The Rotary Club of Kyalami has a history with the school, which began with a joint initiative with a German-based Rotary Club, which sponsored a container classroom for the school.
